Rabbit Light Movies started on a lark. I feel mixed about awp. It's fun to see so many friends. It's less fun
to overhear bookfair wanderers ask about submissions guidlines.
My friend Julie Doxsee and I were living in Denver at the time, and I decided I'd make some dvds of little movies
of us reading. I was excited because Octopus Books had just published our chapbooks in their 8 chapbook set.
So, the night before we left for Atlanta, I went over to Julie's apartment--when she lived across from the Thin Man
and filmed her reading The Knife Grasses. I drove home on Colfax and filmed the traffic. That footage
became the background for this.
That night I "edited" them and burned 99 dvds to pass out in Atlanta. I'm happy it's grown to this.
