Carrie Olivia Adams drinks Manhattans and rides a red Schwinn in Chicago, where she is the poetry editor for Black Ocean and a book a publicist. She is the author of Intervening Absence (Ahsahta Press 2009) and the forthcoming 41 Jane Doe’s (Ahsahta Press 2013), which will include a DVD of her poem-films.

Michael Anichini writes and lives in Chicago, where he is from.

Mei-mei Berssenbrugge was born in Beijing and grew up in Massachusetts. She is the author of twelve books of poetry, including Empathy (Station Hill Press), Nest (Kelsey Street Press), and I Love Artists, New and Selected Poems (University of California Press). Internal Security, her fourth collaboration with Kiki Smith, is forthcoming. She lives in New Mexico and New York City.

Joshua Corey is the author of three books of poetry: Severance Songs, Fourier Series, and Selah. He lives in Evanston, Illinois and teaches English at Lake Forest College.

Kate Eichhorn is the author of Fieldnotes, a Forensic and Fond (both available from BookThug Press) and co-editor of Prismatic Publics: Innovative Canadian Women’s Poetry and Poetics (available from Coach House Books). She lives in New York.

William Fuller's Hallucination was recently published by Flood Editions. Quorum is forthcoming from Seagull Books. He lives outside Chicago.

Lisa Janssen is a writer and archivist. She also edits the journal MoonLit, and most recently directed the audio book of Rudolph Wurlitzer's Slow Fade for Drag City. She lives in Chicago.

Quraysh Ali Lansana is author of five poetry books, a children's book, and editor of eight anthologies. His most recent book is Our Difficult Sunlight: A Guide to Poetry, Literacy & Social Justice in Classroom & Community (Teachers & Writers Collaborative, March 2011). Lansana is Associate Professor of English/Creative Writing at Chicago State University, a former Juilliard School Drama faculty member, and earned a MFA in Poetry at NYU.

Simone Muench is the author of The Air Lost in Breathing, Lampblack & Ash, Orange Crush, and Disappearing Address, co-written with Philip Jenks. She directs Lewis University’s writing program where she teaches creative writing and film studies. She is an editor for Sharkforum and lives in Chicago.

Hideaki Noguchi earned an MFA from Columbia College Chicago. He lives in Chicago's north suburbs.

Kristy Odelius is a poet and Associate Professor of English at North Park University. She's the author of Bee Spit (Dancing Girl Press) and Strange Trades (Shearsman Books). New poems have recently appeared or are forthcoming in Fifth Wednesday, Smartish Pace, and ACM. She lives in Chicago.

Michael O'Leary is the founder of LVNG and the co-founder of Flood Editions. Trained in fracture mechanics, he makes a living as a structural engineer designing power plants. He lives in Chicago.

Melissa Severin's chapbook Brute Fact is available from dancing girl press, and she sometimes writes about Liverpool FC at Empire of the Kop. She lives in Chicago.

John Tipton is the author of surfaces and has translated Sophocles' Ajax, both published by Flood Editions. He lives in Chicago.

Anne Waldman is the author of several books, a recipient of the Poetry Society of America’s Shelley Memorial Award, and has recently been appointed a Chancellor of The Academy of American Poets. She divides her time between New York City and Boulder, Colorado.
